Sugar Moon in the Press

A quick review of where you’ll find people talking about Sugar Moon…

Sweetspot.ca reveals “most recent super-sweet find”

From Sweetspot.ca: There is nothing sweeter than walking through an unassuming door in a strip mall and finding a first-class spa hiding behind it. Our most recent super-sweet find? The appropriately named Sugar Moon Salon.

Sugar Moon specializes in sugaring hair removal (surprise). Why sugar instead of wax? It’s all natural, it adheres to your hair rather than your skin, and since they can use one ball for a large area (like a bikini line or two arms), they don’t have to double-dip—meaning no cross-contamination between clients. (For a full explanation of the benefits, check out their website).

To continue on the natural theme, the nail polish they use doesn’t have any formaldehyde or toluene—so Sugar Moon smells sweet, rather than like a typical nail salon. The results are still rock hard and long lasting (and gorgeous, we’d like to add).

The bright yellow walls made it look sunny even though the weather wasn’t cooperating. The complimentary fruit salad helped to make our visit feel even more like summer, and the friendly service, pile of new magazines, and quickly refilled coffee helped to make it feel more like summer vacation.

Don’t want to take our word for it? Natalie Portman’s nails have already enjoyed two Sugar Moon treatments (yes, she’s in Toronto right now, and yes, she’s unbelievably gorgeous in person). So try a bit of the sweet treatment yourself.
